The Girls Application Deadline has been extended until Friday, May 7th.
KISS is scheduled
the same weekend as some Snickers Regional Cup or provincial tournaments;
however, challengers should not be reluctant to apply as normal.
If your team should become a State Cup/provincial champion after
acceptance, your team will be released and your entry fee will
be returned.
KISS is open
to all elite/premier level teams including USYSA, US Club Soccer,
Super Y League and ODP teams and Canadian clubs. Teams affiliated
solely with US Club Soccer or Super Y-League must declare an 18
player roster for the tournament (identify on KISS Tournament
roster form).
CaptainU
will provide online profiles and player profile books for college coaches
CaptainU, the leading college
soccer recruiting company will provide player profile books
and free access to their online software to help all attending teams and players maximize their exposure at the upcoming event to

LOCATION:
Kalamazoo, Michigan - Midway between Chicago and Detroit on Interstate
I-94. Within a six hour drive of almost every major Midwest city.
SITES:
College showcase games will be at the Kalamazoo Soccer Complex;
most other divisions will be at the River Oaks Soccer Complex.
Both are excellent facilities with 28 manicured fields. All games
for each age group will be in one convenient location.

AGE
GROUPS:
24 Divisions - Boys and Girls (born on or after): U8 (8/1/01), U9 (8/1/00), U10 (8/1/99),
U11 (8/1/98), U12 (8/1/97), U13 (8/1/96), U14 (8/1/95), U15 (8/1/94),
U16 (8/1/93), U17 (8/1/92), U18 (8/1/91), U19 (8/1/90), Open (no age
limitation).
PLAYERS
PER TEAM:
Maximum of 18 (11v11 age groups) or 14 (8v8 age groups), including up
to 5 guest players.
PAPERWORK:
Validated State or Provincial player passes, a Validated copy of their
official team roster, parental medical release forms and a Validated
Permission to Travel (Out-of-state teams only), signed Waiver of Liability
and completed KISS Tournament Roster are required for all players participating
in the tournament and must be produced at check-in. Failure to bring
this information to registration will result in disqualification of
the team.
GAMES:
Each participating team will play a minimum of three full-length games
(U8/9/10 50m, U11-12 60m, U13-14, 70m, U15-16 80m, U17-19 and Open 90m).
These games are scheduled to begin on Saturday morning. All division
championship games will be played Sunday afternoon. If weather conditions
dictate, the tournament committee reserves the right to shorten or cancel
games, as necessary, without rebate of application fees.
AWARDS:
U13-U19: Individual awards for each member of the winning and finalist
teams. U8-U12 and Open: Team awards for winning and finalist teams.
TEAMS:
The KISS Tournament prides itself on its reputation as being The elite/premier
tournament in Michigan and one of the best in the Midwest. Selections
will be based on experience and quality of application. Number of teams
accepted will vary based on strength of entries; age groups may be combined,
where necessary.
APPLICATION
DEADLINE:
Due by April 30th, or require $100 late fee. Only
Online Applications will be accepted.
ACCEPTANCE
NOTIFICATION:
Notification of Acceptance and Non-Acceptance will be by email to the
team contact and coach on or before May 10, 2010. Any team that withdraws
from the tournament after being accepted will forfeit its entry fee.
The only exception will be for those teams winning their State/Provincial
Cup after acceptance.
HOUSING:
All out-of-town teams are required to book their hotel reservations through our Official Housing Service, PSE. COLLEGE
COACHES:
Over 1700 coaches from across the country have been invited to attend
our event; every year we have more coaches attend as they see the quality
of our event and competitors. Player Profiles Booklets will be compiled
for the attending college coaches. Completion of the CaptainU
Player Profile entry by June 12th (boys) or June 19th (girls) is required
for all U15-U18 teams.

INTERESTED
IN BEING A GUEST PLAYER?
Are you a player whose team will not be attending, but would like the
opportunity to guest play with one of our participating teams? Please
complete the online registration process and your contact information
will be provided to coaches that are looking for guest players.

An E-mail address
MUST be on the referee application. ALL communication concerning the
tournament will be by E-mail and E-mail only. Any incorrect E-mail addresses
which return as "undeliverable" will mean that particular
referee will not be included in any communications nor assigned any
matches.
Any out of state
referees will need to provide a release from their USSF State Referee
Administrator, giving his/her permission to officiate in the tournament.
